Imagine if Glenn Beck turned out to reveal he is just a Colbertesque character in a fictional show, just without the success at sarcasm and irony? i think my head would explode inward, or drawtuo eldolpxe, at that actually being stated somewhere on the internet that looks at least semi-legit. you know has to have the calligraphy font and most boring name : the daily explorer. yet if you think about it, it is actually the most awesome of names. everyday, the paper goes out to explore... when's the last time you went everyday out to explore the world and came back day after day to live and write about it? it's doing something most people wouldn't do, and it's doing it for us! :) like Beck has become so many people's 'opinion'.
i remember watching his show for the first time ever and really becoming seduced at his passionate rants about how the government is bad and individual rights are awesome but now all i see are tears and smiles and tears again and i am reminded suddenly that he is neither my girlfriend nor was I ok with some of the creepy stuff he started saying, Obama is going to pour gasoline all over you and light your fire? Ok. I'm just a comedian and this is the worst political commentary satire ever. Dude seriously. your show wouldn't last longer than Arrested Development. but you'd have a crazed following as well.
